Together we Can Make a Difference

The Christmas Place of Operation Sharing, the Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County and the Power of HOPE Community Organization will work together again in reaching out to more families, combining resources to offer assistance and provide a hand-up to families living in poverty and to families in crisis during the holiday season. Please help us in supporting the families and children in Oxford County!

present3Donations of new toys, clothes, pajamas, socks, underwear and gifts for babies to teens; Moms & Dads; Grandparents will be accepted. Any gift you would give your own family will be perfect! Gifts for men and teen boys remain our biggest shortfall.

**Donations of gift cards/cash/cheques will be accepted at both locations. Charitable tax receipts will be issued upon request.**

Parents & Grandparents Shopping from 9 am to 8 pm

Tuesday, December 4, Wednesday, December 5, and Thursday, December 6

  • Shopping for kids and youth – newborn to age 18. Power of HOPE pajama packs will be distributed while supplies last.
  • There is a cost to shop: $10 gift = $1, $20 gift = $2 etc. to max $4/child for Parents ~ Grandparents 1 gift/child.

Children’s Shopping Day (age 3-16 and accompanied by an adult)

Saturday, December 8th—9 am to 1 pm

Invitations are available at: Operation Sharing (Woodstock, Ingersoll); Salvation Army (Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg); The Livingston Centre, Tillsonburg; Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County; Oxford County Community Health Centre; Big Brothers and Big Sisters; Ingamo; Canadian Mental Health Association; Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic; Wellkin Child & Youth Mental Wellness; DASO; WDDS; Good Beginnings and all churches in Oxford County.

Please note: Identification is required at registration.
